Holiday Dessert Tree Centerpiece
Looking to impress your guests with a festive centerpiece that’s as delicious as it is eye-catching? This easy-to-make donut hole tree is the ultimate holiday treat! Perfect for family gatherings, holiday parties, or even as a gift, this edible masterpiece will add a touch of sweetness and charm to your table.
Ingredients:
- Entenmann’s Pop'ems Plain Glazed Donut Holes
- Fresh mint leaves
- Powdered sugar
- Styrofoam cone (approximately 10 inches tall)
- Plastic wrap
- Toothpicks
- Ribbon for the tree topper
- Mini candy decorations, edible glitter, or berries for added flair (optional)
Directions:
- Wrap the Styrofoam cone in plastic wrap to ensure it’s food-safe. Place it on a sturdy base or serving platter.
- Starting at the bottom of the cone, gently insert toothpicks into the cone, leaving about half of the toothpick exposed. Carefully skewer Glazed Donut Holes onto the toothpicks, ensuring they sit snugly against the cone. Work your way up, row by row, until the entire cone is covered.
- Tuck fresh mint leaves between the donut holes to resemble tree branches. The vibrant green leaves will make your tree look festive and elegant.
- Dust powdered sugar over the tree to give it a snowy effect.
- Finish with a decorative ribbon or bow at the top for a charming touch, and if desired, add additional decorations like candy ornaments or edible glitter for extra sparkle.
